The Conspiracy Theory

Before I go to that, fuck!!! Blogspot is really on the roll. For those Blogger users, they would know that Blogger has changed their interface yet again!! New fonts! wooo hooo....

The pictures on the cigarette boxes nowadays don't really act as a deterrent... I think most people are focusing on the wrong aspects of the whole situation. For one thing, the picture is in colour and fucken huge, taking 60-70% of the cover. So, it's really like a watchtower in the sea, fucken glaring innit?

All the easier for plain-clothes custom officers (there are such guys walking around) to catch people with contrabrand cigarettes. Smokers tend to leave their packs on the table for quick accessibility. A quick scan across any table would allow you to see if you are smoking from the packaging or the old one (in the future, contrabrand cigarettes).

2 of my friends had been caught smuggling cartons across the Causeway. Shack, I tell you. The fine cost one of them to be smoking 1 stick for S$6 for the cigarettes!!!
